Responsibilities of Public Relations

Public Relations serves as a key instrument that helps an individual or organization build constructive and positive relationships with the public. As a fundamental component of the management system, it acts as a communication bridge between an organization’s officials and its audience. The activities of this Office are divided into internal and external operations.

 

a) Internal Operations

  • Organizing and coordinating communication among faculties and University units
  • Collecting and centralizing information and news related to the University’s activities, initiatives, and programs
  • Attending important organizational meetings
  • Maintaining direct and continuous communication with University officials
  • Participating in University gatherings and conferences
  • Receiving reports on University activities, plans, and programs
  • Creating a visual archive, documenting University events and development progress
  • Assisting in the organization of academic seminars and coordinating the activities of the University’s various units in this regard
  • Conducting interviews
  • Coordinating public meetings of University officials
  • Preparing a brief history of the University and documenting key milestones in its development
  • Taking and preserving photographs and videos from ceremonies, conferences, gatherings, and University events
  • Public Notifications

 

b) External Operations

  • Maintaining communication with the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology (MSRT)
  • Promoting the University to other universities, academic institutions, research centers, and industrial organizations through the publication of books and promotional brochures
  • Cooperating with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) and national as well as local media to cover the University’s news and events
  • Publishing the University’s monthly magazine
  • Establishing communication with other state organizations
