Engineering Science

Department of Engineering Science

The department of Engineering Science officially started it activities in 2016 and it is now offering its courses to something about undergraduate students.

Engineering science is a broad discipline that encompasses many different scientific principles and associated mathematics that underlie engineering. It integrates engineering, biological, chemical, mathematical, and physical sciences with the arts, humanities, social sciences, and the professions to tackle the most demanding challenges and advance the well-being of global society.

  •   The Engineering Science program is designed and delivered at a level that is more academically demanding;

  • ●  The Engineering Science program contains more mathematics, science and engineering science, with greater focus on deriving results using a first principles approach;

  • ●  The Engineering Science program requires that all students complete an independent research-based thesis project.

  • Degree Programs

  • BSc - Engineering Science

  • Bachelor’s students in Engineering Science need to pass 142 credits during the four-year program.  Here is the categorization of the credits:

Skills and Capabilities of the Graduates

Engineering science graduates will be people who have the skills to solve real problems using basic principles and have the power of reasoning and analysis. Also, due to the depth and variety of engineering education, graduates will have the potential to become successful entrepreneurs in the field of entrepreneurship and founding startups.

Internationally, due to its interdisciplinary nature, engineering sciences are among the most popular and selective science programs, and up to doctoral degrees at prestigious universities such as Oxford University in England, the Universities of Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia, and the United States. , University of Toronto Canada.
