In order to complete the process of change in the employment status, it is necessary that the electronic files of applicants pass four stages. These stages are:

1. Initial Registration / Call for Applications

In order to initiate the process of change in the employment status, it is required that the University initially register the faculty members. Thus, the current process is meant to cover this issue.

Note: According to the resolution approved by the Board of Trustees, the process of change in the employment status “from expert to faculty member” is currently banned at Kermanshah University of Technology

2. Registration of the Type of Change in the Employment Status

In this subprocess, after assessing the qualifications of applicants in order to change their employment status (according to executive regulations and bylaws), the University is able to register the request of change in the employment status along with its type on the website

3. Change in the Employment Status

After entering this subprocess, the applicant will pass such stages as the assessment of academic and general qualifications, inquiries and research about the applicant

4. The Center for Recruitment

Sending files and preparing them for presentation at the meeting of the Central Recruitment Board is a topic which is addressed in this subprocess.

Guide to Change in the Employment Status on the Change in the Employment Status Website

In order to facilitate the process of change in the employment status of faculty members, the following points should be mentioned. All requests of change in the employment status must include name, surname, national identification number, date of birth, father’s name, telephone number, email and the type of request (one of the following) and must be written in the form of letters by the President of the faculty to the Secretary of the Executive Recruitment Board:

a) After being approved by the Center for Recruitment, contractual faculty members with two to five years of service records can change their employment status to probationary permanent.

b) If faculty members with probationary permanent status are promoted to the rank of associate professor or earn the 100% points of associate professorship, they can, with the approval of the Chairman of the Specialized Commission of the Board of Assessors, change their employment status to officially permanent two to five years after being informed of their probationary permanent status.

A few days after the request and the receipt of email from the Center for Recruitment, colleagues can upload their documents to the recruitment website through this link: http://jwfe.hjazb.ir/account/login

Important Points:

1. Applicants are informed of their usernames and passwords by the Secretariat of the Executive Recruitment Board

2. In case any possible issues arise while using the website, contact the support team of the Center for Recruitment at the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology

3. All the required documents including birth certificate, national identification card, military service completion card, the first and the last earnings statements, associate degree, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree and Ph.D. (if applicants acquired their degrees from other countries, the scanned documents verifying the Ministry of Science’s permanent or temporary evaluations) must be uploaded to the website

4. The first and the last earnings statements must be stamped by the Secretariat of the Executive Recruitment Board, then scanned and uploaded to the recruitment website

5. After uploading all documents and confirming them, proceed to confirm the résumé and contact the Executive Recruitment Board for the next confirmation

6. It is mandatory that the Committee for the Assessment of Academic Qualifications complete the form of academic points for the University’s scholars who change their employment status from scholars to contractual or non-military service and faculty members through non-military service who, after finishing their service, change their employment status to contractual

7. After making inquiries about the applicant through competent authorities, the file is initially discussed in the meeting of the Committee for the Assessment of General Qualifications, then, after interviewing the applicant, the file is sent to the Executive Recruitment Board for approval and is finally uploaded to the recruitment website

8. During the assessment of files, messages to the effect that “a new message has been sent to you on the recruitment website” are sent by the Center for Recruitment. These messages have no text and only signify a change caused when the Center for Recruitment or the Secretariat of the Executive Recruitment Board upload documents

9. According to Clause 16, Article 1 of Faculty Members Recruitment Bylaw, official or contractual faculty members whose academic and general qualifications have been confirmed by the Board of Assessors or the Executive Recruitment Board (depending on the case) are included in the above-mentioned bylaw. Therefore, collaboration of individuals with the University in the form of “conditional contractual” and “academic contract” is not acknowledged as employment status and contractual faculty members’ years of collaboration in the above-mentioned statuses are not counted as the minimum period of permanence required to change their employment status from contractual to probationary permanent.

After completing the process of assessing academic and general qualifications, the Secretariat of the Executive Recruitment Board uploads the file to the recruitment website and then sends hard copies of documents to the Center for Recruitment. Finally, after assessing the documents on the website, conducting relevant meetings and comparing the documents with those uploaded to the recruitment website, the Center for Recruitment issues a statement.
