Message of the Director

The Student Affairs Management of the University is one of the most crucial and sensitive managements of the University, which, by laying the proper foundations, has the role of supporting educational and research domains. By maintaining and developing its supporting role in the supervised domains, it will take steps to create a desirable environment to accomplish the intended objectives. The Student Affairs Management humbly serves the future generation of the country and believes that students who are cultivated by the University should be religious, committed, reflective, creative and capable of analyzing environmental issues through critical thinking and with a sense of responsibility toward one’s own destiny and that of others. This Vice Presidency attempts to provide a suitable platform for the education of students in physical, spiritual and intellectual terms based on Islamic teachings. Therefore, it strives to meet welfare, livelihood as well as sports needs and carries out its activities in the form of providing student loans and insurance, providing suitable dormitories, organizing conferences and festivals, as well as providing sports facilities and counseling services by relying on moral and Islamic principles, social justice and satisfaction of students.

General Responsibilities

- Applying the guidelines and policies of the University Council in the Vice Presidency for Student and Cultural Affairs

- Monitoring the implementation of student regulations and bylaws

- Aligning the activities of centers and managements of the Vice Presidency with the policies of the Ministry of Science as well as the Welfare Fund of students and the University

- Special supervision and control over student services, dormitories as well as nutrition departments and providing necessary guidance when special cases arise

- Management of the Disciplinary Council of students

- Management of the Special Cases Commission

- Compiling and proposing the general principles of student counseling

- Management of health programs and activities

-  Management of physical education programs and activities

- Management of the work process of students

-  Monitoring the implementation of bylaws and directives sent by the Welfare Fund of students

- Handling the suggestions and criticism of students

-  Studying and making decisions regarding the proposed issues of students

- Examining the problems of students and helping them with personal, social, emotional and spiritual problems

- Preparing and writing the proposed budget of the Vice Presidency for Student and Cultural Affairs

-  Planning extracurricular student affairs

- Carrying out other tasks assigned by the President of the University
