Message of the Director

Undoubtedly, human resources are the most important resources of any organization. As a matter of fact, human resources of an organization lead to its success and are considered the essential element in the fulfillment of the University’s objectives. In order to achieve its organizational goals, the Administrative Management of the University is always committed to management functions that include planning, organization, coordination, supervision and control. The correct implementation of the directives and bylaws of the University is high on its agenda.

 

General Responsibilities

- Determining the policy and monitoring the proper implementation of administrative activities at the University

- Implementing the policies of the University in administrative, employment and support affairs

- Preparing and writing the necessary bylaws, directives and administrative instructions in order to present them to relevant authorities based on the regulations and resolutions of the University and communicating them to all units after approval

-  Overseeing the implementation of disciplinary regulations and dealing with staff violations and referring matters to Violation Handling Boards

-  Studying and evaluating job categories of the University and providing observations and corrective suggestions to relevant authorities in cooperation with the University’s Planning and Programming Management

- Cooperating with relevant units in order to supply the human resources required by the University

-  Carrying out administrative and employment affairs of faculty and non-faculty members

- Predicting promotions and the annual change of staff’s group with the help of relevant units

- Creating and keeping the personnel database as well as the service and administrative records of all University personnel

- Making preparations and providing the tools and equipment required by different units of the University and ordering them from home and abroad through complete coordination with relevant units

-  Supervision in carrying out all support and service affairs of the University and presenting them to different units

- Carrying out basic repairs in order to restore and maintain existing buildings and facilities

- Supervising repairs and maintenance of buildings, facilities and related equipment of the University

- Preparing plans related to the general welfare of staff and monitoring the proper implementation of the aforementioned plans

- Planning and monitoring the appropriate methods used by the Recruitment Office of the University

- Monitoring the correct implementation of recruitment regulations and providing necessary guidance

- Cooperation with the Planning and Programming Management in preparing, writing and correcting the set of job descriptions, charts and organizational positions of the University

-  Supervising attendance and absence affairs, full-time plan, overtime and staff appointment (faculty and non-faculty members)

- Participating in various meetings and commissions as well as making observations and necessary suggestions

- Dealing with welfare and retirement affairs of staff and making necessary decisions

- Monitoring the evaluation of subordinate units

- Cooperation with the Security Office in protecting buildings, properties and facilities

-  Participating in meetings of preparing and writing the personnel budget
