Vice President for Administrative and Financial Affairs

Introduction

The Vice Presidency for Administrative and Financial Affairs is responsible for planning and policy making regarding the University’s administrative and financial system as well as the management of human resources in the form of rules, regulations and resolutions along with the implementation of rules and supervision over financial and administrative regulations and provides the foundation for realizing the goals of higher education.

Responsibilities and Authorities

-  Organization and financial planning based on increasing productivity

-  Planning to generate income and increase financial resources by relying on the practical and specialized potential of the University

-  Policy making in order to optimize and adjust current costs

- Making observations on the organization and administrative structure of the Vice Presidency

-  Policy making, management and evaluation of human resources in order to improve staff productivity and maintain administrative discipline

-  Constant evaluation of the performance of staff and revision of the evaluation system

- Providing facilities and welfare services to faculty members and staff

- Providing, repairing and maintaining the infrastructure of the University campus

- Completing and revising the comprehensive plan of organizing and beautifying the physical space

-  Monitoring and improving the status of traffic and transportation

- Supervising affairs related to buildings and implementation of construction projects

-  Carrying out the legal affairs of the University

- Studying and following up on the construction of buildings and new construction plans

- Provision, distribution and optimization of water resources based on the type of consumption

- Conducting studies about designing a comprehensive urban pattern at the University

- Interaction with public and private organizations in order to expand the range of cooperation

- Policy making and planning in order to provide the requirements of the University
