Responsibilities of Public Relations

As an extensive tool, public relations help an individual or organization have constructive relations with the general public. Indeed, as a fundamental structure in the management system, Public Relations serves as a communicative bridge between the addressee and the officials within an organization. Activities of this unit are divided into two sections: internal organizational and  external organizational


1) Internal organizational section includes:

a) Organizing relations between the faculties and the University’s subunits
b) Gathering and centralizing information as well as news related to the activities, actions, plans and programs of the organization
c) Participating in important organizational meetings
d) Direct and constant contact with the University’s officials
e) Participating in the University’s gatherings and conferences
f) Receiving reports of the University’s various activities, plans and programs
g) Providing pictorial archives of events and the University’s progress
h) Cooperating in order to conduct scientific seminars and guiding the activities of the University’s different sections in this regard
i) Conducting interviews
j) Coordinating in order to conduct general meetings of the University’s officials
k) Presenting a short history of the University and recording important events in its ongoing progress
l) Providing photos and videos of ceremonies, conferences, gatherings and the developments of the University and preserving them
m) Notifying


2) External organizational section includes:

a) Contact with the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT)
b) Introducing the University to universities, various scientific - research institutes as well as research and technological centers through publishing books and promotional brochures
c) Establishing contact with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) as well as national and local media for covering the news and events of the University
d) Publishing the University’s monthly
e) Establishing contact with institutions within other state organizations
