Department of Engineering Science

Engineering Science is an interdisciplinary field that is formed through the close connections of different fields like physics, mathematics as well as engineering and is an opportunity for students to pursue their interests in different fields of science while learning engineering techniques. This field includes two subdisciplines: Computational Science and Environmental Science.

Computational Science

It is possible to solve complex and difficult engineering problems using modeling techniques and scientific calculations, which are taught in the subdiscipline of Computational Science. It provides the necessary preparations for the graduates of this subdiscipline to develop the skills of modeling and simulating large technologies in laboratories.

Environmental Science

This subdiscipline protects the environment and helps to improve it by examining the chemical, physical and biological principles and using engineering analysis.

Job Prospects

Teacher-researcher in projects pertaining to the assessment of environmental impact, environmental pollution, health and environmental safety etc., and as a contractor or consultant for municipal organizations, the Ministry of Agricultural Jihad, the Meteorological Organization, the Natural Resources Organization etc.
