Faculty of Information Technology

This Faculty was founded in 2010 and the first discipline of this Faculty was Information Technology. One of the objectives of founding this Faculty in Kermanshah University of Technology is to train expert and skilled workforce necessary for the country, and especially for the western region of the country, and to respond to the present needs in related fields. Completion and establishment of the required laboratories and research centers are included in the development plan of this Faculty. The disciplines available in the Faculty of Information Technology include Computer Engineering and Computer Science at the bachelor’s level and Computer Engineering – Artificial Intelligence and Robotics – at the master’s level.  The new Faculty of Information Technology began its activities in 2016. The new building of this Faculty includes 2 computer sites, laboratories of the Department of Computer Engineering, including logical-architectural circuits of computer, microprocessor, digital design, software, computer network and mobile content creation.
